Lahti. FIS Nordic World Ski Championships Candidate 2029

A sustainable future calls for action, not just talk. Lahti is a pioneer of environmental work, European Green Capital 2021 and a climate neutral city by 2025. The other key shareholders of the bid, Finnish Ski Association and Lahti Ski Club, share the same ambitous goals and actions in organizing winter sports events.

In 2029 we would love to introduce and share the skiing world the concept of the future Nordic Ski Festival. In Lahti 2029 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships will be both spectacular and sustainable.
